About me

I have 20 years of experience working in digital, and I’m a campaigner.

I have worked with big corporate brands in the past, but I’ve always specialised in non-profits, with experience across education, charity and government. You can see clients I have worked for here.

I once trained the entire BBC Comms team on social media best practice, and I delivered the research and strategy for Wellbeing of Women’s “Just a Period” campaign, which won ThirdSector’s Comms Campaign of the Year 2024.

I can help you with your digital comms and campaigns from the discovery and research phase, through to strategy, planning, production, and evaluation.

Digital transformation, digital products and digital strategy

I can work at an organisational strategy level by co-designing and delivering your digital transformation programme. Covering training, data, tools, processes, leadership, technology and security, I create a roadmap that’s unique to your organisation.

I can map supporter journeys, and project manage the delivery of your advocacy campaigns, your digital products, or even your entire website design and build, including managing freelancers and agencies.

I do strategy and production management of emails, websites, paid and organic social media, and Google Ad Grants.


Data analysis, audience research, UX consultancy and content strategy

My work is data-driven. My data analysis, audience research and UX consultancy services can inform your content strategy, campaign strategy and digital product development, improving donation conversion rates, campaign response and email list-growth.

I do website analytics, social media content evaluation, UX audits, usability testing, social media conversation analysis, competitor analysis, audience research and surveys.


Measurement and evaluation, live data dashboards

I help you to define your KPIs, produce measurement frameworks and evaluation reports, including meaningful insights that can inform your digital strategy.

I design and build multi-channel live data dashboards to enable data-led decision making across your organisation.


Advocacy campaign strategy and digital mobilisation

When I was Head of UK Campaigns at the petition site Care2, I worked with grassroots organisers and international non-profits to drive change, grow their email lists and gain national media coverage.

Now, my advocacy campaign strategy services will help you to define your campaign objectives, theory of change, KPIs, advocacy mechanic (what you ask people to do / how you get supporters involved), supporter journey and internal workflow (process design).

Fees

I think it’s helpful to be transparent about fees from the start. My 2025 freelance consultancy rate is usually £480 per day when I’m working directly with non-profits. I don’t currently charge VAT.

That’s negotiable for big projects (more than ten days) or if you’re booking my time well in advance (more than a month).

For context, some agencies used to charge me out to their clients at £800-£1,000 a day, and that was more than ten years ago.
