The ‘open to work’ green LinkedIn profile picture overlay doesn’t quite feel right for freelancers. I spotted someone with a ‘freelancer’ alternative (I forget who it was), which I thought was a great idea, so I made this template myself. You can use it if you like.

The one with black text is WCAG AAA accessible, but it’s still a bit hard to read when small. After seeing some other people’s versions (HT Tori Flower and Adrian Jarvis) I’ve now made a teal one with white text and a dark pink one with white text, those are WCAG AA accessible and I made the text a bit bigger too.

Instructions: right click on the empty image below and click ‘save image as’ then upload that to whatever image editing program you use, then add your own headshot picture using a circular mask behind it.
